Eh, I think he's just attempting to make a brand for himself. Can make a lot of money off the field by being quirky and different because people notice and talk about it. Dennis Rodman paved the way for it in the 90s. No one was giving endorsements and media hype to a defensive rebound specialist who can't shoot when he was in Detroit until the dude started dying his hair crazy colors, piercing everything and wearing wedding dresses. He suddenly became a celebrity and banging chicks like Carmen Electra because of that.

Just in case this comment was directed at me, it is exciting watching your child become who they’re meant to be.

I mean, as long as they don’t become an asshole, I can’t say I mind either way.

If I had my choice, I’d prefer my son end up being on the taller side but I won’t be upset if he’s a 5’4” short king.

The bottom line is ALL of the best QB's today and the best one's who have been drafted over the last several years ARE ALL TALLER THAN CALEB...FACT.

Does that mean he's gonna be a bust? No. But the worrying trend of qb's his height going into the nfl over the last six years has been clear to see. They are either bad or average at best. Fullstop.
There’s nothing clear about it. Baker and Kyler’s issues aren’t that they’re short and the best QBs aren’t the best because they’re tall.

You’re overrating height like a lot of people do. Same with arm strength. It’s way overblown.

Might be preferential though. Wouldn’t have to worry as much about teenage pregnancy lol

At the same time, Staylor does still regularly call people pillowbiters so he’s feeding into this same culture that he recognizes doesn’t make being gay entirely acceptable.

Oh GMAFB with this shit. I don't use the word bundle of sticks in any kind of hateful anti-gay context. I know gay guys that use that word in similar contexts. I've never once called a gay person a bundle of sticks.

Me not using that word isn't going to all of a sudden create you guys' utopia where bullying doesn't exist.

Talk to your kid, talk to the other parents, talk to the school, etc.

The flip side of not wanting your kids to deal with the bullshit is showing them how to properly handle it... and I think that sort of thing can go a long way towards not seeing major issues like depression.

Parents can absolutely deal with it the wrong way and make shit worse.

My kids will always be taught that bullying is never ok.

I don't really think anything else can be done outside of that. This idea that we can control the rest of society is just nonsense.

I’m just glad this future bust won’t be our problem. I really wish the Donks would draft him, but I’m sure they’ll find some other shitty QB somewhere.

Oh, now you’ve gone and done it!

Jk, I know a lot of people think this way so I’m not going to change any minds, but it is important to note that you’re only passing roughly 25% of your genes to your grandchildren regardless.

If anything, I think culture is the biggest thing when it comes to that stuff.

I'm half white half Cuban, but I identity more with ny Cuban side and that's the culture I grew up with, and that my kids will grow up with (my wife is also Cuban).

I'd love it if my family's culture stays Cuban, but it's not a big deal by any means.

It goes a long way with your kid if you try though.

There are obviously gray areas and extremes when it comes to not fighting all of your kid's battles and not being helicopter parent, and not being outraged at parents and the school... while also teaching your kid how to stick up for themselves and so forth.

But, a little effort towards making things right and going to bat for them (depending on all the things, obviously) can go a long way.... hell the kids of the bully may even thank you.

I mean... wouldn't you want a teacher to inform you if your kid was being stuffed in lockers and what not?

Dennis Rodman could get rebounds like no other that was his only role on the team outside of getting the ball to Jordan and Pippin. He accepted his role on the team doing that.

Ohh I would absolutely be in top of things if I had concerns that my son was the one being bullied (or potentially getting bullied).

Lol yeah all those short qb's drafted 1st have struggled for no reason obviously!!..them being weak throwing over the middle because they can't see well has nothing to do with it clearly
