$10 seems a little too unrealistic. If it got that low for any extended period, the oil industry in this country would be crippled. Maybe that's what Saudi Arabia is truly aiming for but they may bankrupt their own country in the process.

A potential 50% reduction in shale production is already pretty damaging. Our adding to the global spare capacity has had a significant impact on crude's decline.

Start looking at oil and oil services stocks with the lowest debt to equity ratio. Then when oil hits low to mid twenties, jump aboard.

The problem with oil mutual funds is they have some good ones and some dogs in them that may go bankrupt so they may not get the best returns.

Be very careful of stocks with artificially high dividend yields, they will likely be cut.
