Now you're comparing Paton to some random guy on a message board? Weird.

Seriously....what's he done to deserve accolades again?

Remember, your standard is that a GM who turned the worst defense in the NFL into a SB winning D in one offseason, and a disastrous OL into one of the best in one offseason, with back to back stellar drafts, is not good. So this Paton dude must have done something pretty serious!

Yeah, RB's, like guards and centers, are easy to find. Hitting on Baron Browning in the 3rd or Caden Sterns in the 5th is more impressive than drafting a good RB at #35.

A truly elite RB can extremely impactful, though. Just look at how much better your offense was with Kareem Hunt than without him.

Can’t inherit what you found in the first place. Without Veach, Patrick Mahomes is not a Chief:

Quote:
As the draft approached, Veach sold Reid and then-general manager John Dorsey on Mahomes. He hounded Cabott, wanting to know about Mahomes’s injured wrist, the date of his pro day, how he was feeling — anything. He contacted him at least once, Cabott said, for 94 consecutive days.

“Brett, obviously with retrospect now, did a tremendous job on scouting Patrick and then getting first, Andy, and then later, John Dorsey, excited about him,” Hunt told reporters in October. “It truly was an organizational decision to draft him, so I don’t want to minimize that, but Brett deserves a lot of the credit.”

Not true. BUT CP damn sure would have drafted Josh Allen over Bradley Broke Dick Chubb, especially with Shaq Barrett still on the roster. And we TOLD you that about a million times leading up to the draft. You were pimping Allen, right up until the pic was made - then you, of course, pivoted.

(This was all in one draft, which happened to be his first, btw)
So he got a RB who averaged 4.4 ypc in the early 2nd round. Wowee.

And what have the others accomplished again?

No, they would've drafted Rosen. CP hated Josh Allen.

He pummeled your defense the first time we played KC last year. Your D wanted no part of him.

His YPC should skyrocket now that we have an actual QB and a running scheme that is known for gashing people.

Browning: 54.9 on PFF
Sterns: 59.2

Williams is a top 15 RB in one category (yds) and top 10 in none.

This is what makes General Pay a Ton a miracle worker?

How about the stellar move of Paton picking Jeudy over Lamb? Does Knowshow not like talking about this epic fail? He has like 2 TDs in his career...and led all qualifying WRs in drops the first year.

That's far worse than anything Veach has done..

I said on draft day, I was happy they passed on him...
