I never gave up. I just stated a fact. At the time, it was the worst game of Mahomes’s career.

On the bright side, Richard Sherman doesn't have to worry about the awkward White House visit conversation.

I called the Mahomes interceptions last week and I was WAAY down on this team after that second pickle. It was over...

That 4th quarter defense was legendary though. They won the game and should get the MVP, with Damien as a close runner up. They had the poopey 49er quarterback hearing footsteps while Mahomes was dropping dimes.

Dude like you have any reason to point shame towards another poster with your pimping of X-Factor and getting him to and into the SB.
Oh and tell me when they had been down that much that late and came back. It is like a completely different defense took the field.

I'll take my lashings like a man. I called it after the second interception, isolated myself in another room to watch the game and not ruin anyone else's night in negativity. I watched it, Patrick came back, made me look like a fool, and if that's what it takes then I'll take it willingly. Congrats to all Chiefs fans, past and present, to my father who raised me to be a Chiefs fan, took me to all the games he could afford to... it feels surreal and to those who had more resolve than I did, enjoy it all the same.

Making observations about bad play calling or poor execution is different than saying the defense has folded after giving up a field goal.
