What should Dustin Colquitt's official position designation be?

He started his career as a punter, but in the past couple of years he's been used primarily as a holder on extra points and the occasional field goal.

So is he a punter or a holder?

With that thought, we should get rid of Buttker also. He just signed for $20,000,000. Dance with the devil you know.

Over his career, he has averaged 44 yds per punt. Right now he's at like 42, with a season long 57. But he's a good holder and not costly. Keep his ass around, it's cool to have a dude that long. He's not hurting the team.

My initial post was partly in jest, but I seriously think that his greater value at this point is being a flawless holder and making Butker more effective. That's really important when your team kicks this many extra points.

Dustin Colquitt has been a holder for Lawrence Tynes, Dave Raynor, Justin Medlock, John Carney, Nick Novak, Connor Barth, Ryan Succop, Cairo Santos, Harrison Butker, and possibly a few holds in practice for a guy named Matt Szymanski (who never kicked in a game but was briefly on the roster in 2012).
