Nick Bolton

I haven’t seen a LB play this bad for the Chiefs since…idk. Not even Anthony Hitches was this bad.

Slow, missing tackles, worthless in coverage.

Please Veach do NOT pay this guy

He was lost all game. On the 2nd to last play where Flowers was WIDE OPEN, Bolton went back out of the end zone while Flower broke back deep. He was 20 yards away as the defender.

Bolton was abysmal. His worst game as a pro by a mile.

Hopefully, but man he looked very rough out there.

Bolton covering Flowers is always a win for the offense.

It’s a lesser discussed thing but rewatching the 2022 playoffs made me realize he was a shell of himself in the playoffs last year. He’s the playcaller of the defense right now, but he’s not been the force he was since the injury.

We’ll see what he’s like when he’s healthy.

I don't know, we played an offense that didn't really use the RB so not sure what his assignments were etc...Not going to go all CP and bitch abbot a guy after 1 game who has been really good most of his career.

Weird I know.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall during game film review as they study WTF Bolton was doing all game.

I hope that was his rock bottom. Nowhere but UP from here!

Bolton and Tranquill were both CFL caliber tonight. That was painful.

Chenal played well. The rest of the LB crew was a genuine liability. Like a ‘if they play another game like that you have to make a trade’ bad. It was 2023 WR room bad.

That cannot continue.

He's been in multiple Super Bowls, not sure if players with that resume still get nerves? Maybe...

His name derives from the shitty northern town in England. Their football team is called Bolton Wanderers and wandering is exactly what Nick Bolton did for the whole game.

He was atrocious but he's been amazing for us over the years. I'm not going to suddenly start calling him shit after one admittedly awful performance.
