Well it can happen to anyone.
My wife and I were in a restaurant once and I started feeling strange. My guts were rumbling, so I made a quick trip to the shitter, and no sooner had I gotten there, I started puking blood. Lots of blood. I was afraid to go back to our table and cause a scene, so I figured I’d just go out to the car and wait for her to come out. I got out in the parking lot and took a couple steps and passed out, hitting my head on the ****ing pavement. Rolled around a little, then crawled over to our car and climbed into the passenger seat. After a few minutes, my wife came out looking for me, saw my head bleeding and my face ashen, and took me to the hospital. As she was in one room checking me in, I was in the room with patients waiting to be admitted, sitting next to a man and his wife who was getting ready to have her baby. They were both on their phones talking to people, I guess telling them they were having their baby. Then my guts started rumbling again. But I didn’t think I was gonna puke. And I was so ****in dizzy from loss of blood, I think. All I could do was sit there and shit my pants full of blood. And it was loud, long and watery. That pregnant couple next to me both got really quiet for a couple seconds, then he helped her up and took her to the other room where my wife was, then she came running out. I told her I shit myself, and needed to be taken to a car wash. Bleeding ulcer. Can’t remember how many units of blood. A week in the hospital. But the worst part was shitting myself next to the pregnant woman. sec |

there were kids in school that had shit running down their leg as they desperately sprinted to a bathroom and they were never able to live it down the entire rest of their school career. Now imagine being the guy that forces an international flight to pull a u turn because of your explosive shits.

I bet that was a long and embarrasing turnaround and landing for that poor passenger.
I used to chuckle at stuff like this, but the older I get, the more I view it sympathetically. |

Last month, just days after this story erupted, I was faced with a similar situation. We had booked a cruise around Iceland, we were flying from O'Hare to Heathrow, and I was violently ill in the four days before the flight. Fever and uncontrollable poops. OTC drugs had zero effect on it.
We had already paid for the flight and the cruise, ~$10,000, and didn't want to miss out. I was able to go longer between episodes, but still tenuous. 2 days before leaving I walked into the bedroom heading for the bathroom. My wife had left her suitcase on the floor in the process of packing. I hadn't turned on the lights, did not see the suitcase, tripped over it, fell and pooped my pants - though I was trying to clench it shut. I hurried to the toilet, turned and sprayed the toilet and wall behind it before getting sat down. Cleaned it up afterwards. Next day, cleaned it up again. Luckily (or maybe not really) my wife, being on numerous cancer drugs, had some opiate containing anti-diarrhea drugs, that put the brakes on my situation. One of those pills gave me about 12 hours of safety. The day of the flight I made my first purchase of adult diapers, put one on backwards (because the problem is in the back, not the front), took a pill and got on the plane. I made the 2 flights safely without putting the diaper to the test. When we got to Heathrow and before we got our ground transportation, I made a visit to the restrooms. As I entered the stall, I heard the guy in the next stall talking on his telephone. I proceeded with a gurgrly blast, uncorking a lot of brown water at a high rate of speed. His conversation ended abruptly. I was still under the weather for a couple of days, but then recovered and enjoyed the cruise. Saw some northern lights. Anyway, I sympathize with the person in the story. It can happen to anyone, and it doesn't always let you know ahead of time. |
