Frivolous entertainment and leisure are often the hardest hit in crises like this.
Goods can rebound on a timeline. People hoard, then consume then replenish after the crisis. Entertainment, you go without it for a bit and a lot of people realize that it's not that much of a necessity and just keep abstaining after the crisis. |

It’s more from the fact that everyone he played against will have to quarantine and get tested now - including opposing coaching staffs and anyone with locker room access. This disrupts in the league where any immediate games in the schedule would have been untenable to play regardless.

Any commissioner would have done this immediately after a player caught this virus. Silver isn't special. He had no choice. The schedule would have been affected for weeks for at least the Jazz (who may have others test positive) and possibly others (who the Jazz have played in past few weeks).
