I make my own McMuffin knockoffs every morning at work. They taste just as good as McDonalds and they are far less expensive. Also, the only disgruntled employee I have to worry about spitting on my food is me.

Precooked, Great Value, frozen patty. According to a former McDonalds Chef, the ingredients are almost identical, as is the taste. I don't recall the brand of English muffin but I get them at Sam's Club. I lightly toast them then add a smidge of butter.

The Thomas sourdough English muffin is pretty good with egg and ham.
Working out west seems everything is served on sourdough. You ask for bacon and eggs with wheat or white toast they look down there nose at you. I got burned out on sourdough. The Thomas EM is pretty mildly flavored though. |

I used to get the one without the pancakes. That sausage was flavored just right. They changed it a few years back though and it's a filler grisle monster now. Its also devoid of flavor.

I love McDonalds breakfast but I tried that steak and cheese bagel about 15 years ago and it was easily the worst breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had a McDonalds.
