I wonder what the straw will be that breaks the camel’s back. At some point contracts will plateau, and it’ll be interesting to see how that shakes out.

What choice do they have? They’ll always be good enough to not get a great QB prospect.

The last regime was the one that picked Tua over Herbert

Maybe next year those scrappy Lions make the Superbowl. And the Chiefs beat them.

That would be a great honor for the city of Detroit. A true blessing.

I guess if you have to sign up for the entire 12 months?

YTTV - $75/month or $375 for September through February
Prime - $15/month or $75 September through January
Peacock - Let's pretend you have to pay $6 for 5 months.. $30.

Those 3 for the football season are $480 or $96/month (even though you could technically pause YTTV after the SB and save 2-3 weeks, and doubtful you'd need Peacock for 5 months).

I'm sure Sunday Ticket is thrown in there for many fans though.

(and **** the NFL)

Nice comeback story none the less. There's some parallels to Alex Smith.

Looks like Goff still had $27 million of cash remaining in his old contract. So it’s basically $197 million for 2024 through 2027. And a non-guaranteed team option for $42 million in the 2028 season.

I think his salary should be complete ownership of the Kansas City Chiefs.

I'd rather have the Burrows back up. He's better than Tua.

The season is right around 6 months long. That'd be $150/month. There is no way that data is correct.

What I don’t get is if you are a QB like Goff. In a perfect situation with a young team. Is it really crazy to take 45m a year to help the team actually win something.

We are so ****ing spoiled by Mahomes.
