Ahh I forgot that there was no distinction there at LB. Yea, not happening.

Don't think they'll tag Trey either honestly.

I guess we need to keep in mind it’s an extension as well. He’s making like 5 million this year, so it’s really 5-years, $77 million if you want to look at it like that. Seems more reasonable.

Either way, they clearly decided he was not expendable. We know they have no problem letting guys leave if they think we can get by without them, so just have to trust them.

Don't really understand why folks are surprised at the AAV. The last elite center to sign did so in 2021.

That’s not how ‘guaranteed’ works.

If he plays 4 years, he’s getting $72 million. If he only gets 50, that’s only gonna be over 3 years.

It’s a big Fing contract. Not sure I’d have given it to him. But we’ll see if the structure paints a different picture somehow.

That’s why this AAV for creed is strange to me.

Tag figure for Creed was like $13 million. And they weren’t going to use it on Bolton or Smith.

So you gave him 3 years and $59 million on TOP of the tag year?

Sorry but this just feels like too much by a solid 15%.

Yes, there is definitely no value here. And it feels like on a position-adjusted basis center inflation is nearly on par with guard inflation.

It is what it is. They clearly value what he brings.

Trust thy Veach.

See you later, Trey.

Wait, what? Tags for OL aren't by position. The tag would be a bit over 20 million for Creed.

Three years for 50 million is good to me. Hopefully there is nothing guaranteed in year four. Smith is gone.
