Wonder how much Metcalf and Lockett factor into that? Lockett is a top 5 WR in terms of hands and Metcalf is top 5 in terms of possession aka he’ll outmuscle nearly anyone for high point deep balls.

You could also say the same about Tyreek’s impact on Mahomes before with him now gone

Yep. Lockett and Metcalf have never had anyone other than Wilson as their QB, and Hill has never had anyone other than Mahomes as his QB (barring injuries and end of game substitutions).

We will see how it plays out this season, though.

But yeah, Hill was pretty great with Smith throwing him the ball too, so barring a physical decline he’ll probably be pretty great in MIA as well. What’s interesting is how his stats reflect the QB: in 2016 he had his highest catch % but lowest yards per catch for his career.
