With that, I am here to make a proclamation!

The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.

For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.

A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.

The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.

What did Mahomes do in the AFC championship when Hardman gifted the bills a 9-0 lead? Won the rest of the game 38-15.

What did he do in the 13 second game which would have been over long before the end if Butker didn’t leave 4 points on the field? Kept on scoring.

How many scoring drives did Allen lead last season in the second half once the Chiefs took a 27-24 lead? Zero. Only one even got into Chiefs territory.

They changed the rules for Allen.

And his kicker duffed it anyway.

What I know is that in 3 drives in the 4th quarter of a game he was losing by 3, Allen managed zero points.

DickLix wants to bitch about Tyler Bass but neglects to mention that Mecole Hardman fumbling at the 1 yard line was all that kept that from being a coronation for the last 10 minutes of the game either way.

Allen had plenty of opportunities to win that game before Bass lost it. He failed.

It wasn't going to overtime. If Bass hits the kick, Mahomes takes it down the field and finishes what he started.

Last season Mahomes beat three higher seeded teams in one playoff including the Bills of course. Something Allen has still never done. Keep coping in fantasy land.
