Depends on offers he's getting. If the market is drying out and he can't get over 12 Million he may do like Wilson and take vet minimum.

Mike Williams seems redundant. Kelce, Rice and Hollywood get the vast majority of targets. No room for him here

Player for player yes, but in this case it might be:

Sneed

OR

Mike Williams + pick 46 + Mike Danna

You're one injury away.

He's the missing X receiver and another easy button against one-on-one coverage.

I know 2018 isn't happening again, but if you wanna see what's possible, sign Mike.

If he is willing to come here cheaply, **** yeah there is.

He's worth it as a red zone weapon alone.

Considering our depth at DB and how we find them so easily, option 2 seems obvious to me.

Did you know there’s an awesome WR class in the draft this year?

It would be nice to see Mahomes be able to say **** it and throw to a covered guy who makes a play. Haven’t had that guy at WR.

Maybe Veach should go ahead and look to trade Smith now and get a new RG in this draft. Smith is gonna ask for the going rate for guard which is about $16M-$18M ATM. Just trade him away and gain another $3.3M in cap and give Mike Williams a 2 year deal with this year being no higher than that $3.3M.

Then also give Sneed a new deal.

You could probably get Leggette or Coleman at 46 or whoever you like down there.

OR consider trading away a guy that will need a new contract next offseason now.

I think sneed and colts are just hammering out a long term deal

I would love sneed for long term too. But…you know chiefs need more WR, OT, LB, RB, S, CB if sneed goes etc.

I hope they fill whatever holes in draft. But…money for draft picks, and after June 1 cuts,
And being able to resign Bolton, Humphries and whoever next year…

Just like with Hill, it’s better to replace big contract with draft capital. That’s how they got here, that’s what you have to do when possible.
