And while there is a price to pay later on, if you have an owner who has access to unlimited amounts of cash you can ignore the salary cap for a number of years before it catches up to you. Guys like Mike Brown, Dean Spanos and Mark Davis don't have that option. Heck, Pat Bowlen didn't have that option and got busted for "circumventing the cap" when all he did was defer payments because he couldn't afford to build a stadium and fund his elite roster at the same time.
That spin gets better every time.

My thoughts exactly. I can't remember the last time the salary cap kept the Broncos from doing what they wanted. Fax machines have presented more problems than the cap, as far as I can remember.

Sure it does, let’s look at he advantages that Miami and Carolina enjoy from wealthy owners. Wait, uh, never mind. Upon further review, this is a distinction without a difference.

Yeah, but... we can still cheat, the NFL apparently is still all googly eyes about Denver winning and we have that glorious altitude advantage. #bringbackgreasedjerseys

It is what it is... they could still be much improved, yet fall to 3rd or 4th in this division.

It's like a complete 180 of what the NFC East did in 2020. The Redskins won the division and advanced to the playoffs... they were 7-9. Yes, they were first in their division, but they were far from being a true top 12 team that season. Same could likely be said for whichever team falls 4th in the AFCW this year. Sure, they were last, but by far they were not in the bottom half of the league.

He’s most likely beating off to pictures of Failway, so I’ll answer for him...

2458 days and counting

Or basically 59013 hours and 43 minutes. Or 113 regular season games they’ve played since last beating KC. Or only 10 regular season games less than Andy has won in KC total.

Andy Reid 103 wins in KC
Dungver 113 games played since last beating KC

We are already seeing the impact of Russell Wilson.

The Broncos have instantly become the corniest ****ing team in the league
