Alex Smith Traded to Chiefs

Well, it looks like the deal is done.

https://twitter.com/intent/user?scre...w_p=tweetembed

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith.

I wouldn't mind if they at least tried. Hell my lakers not very good. But they tried signing Nash and Howard. My baseball team in the dodgers. Traded for everyone last year and failed I'm ok with that. They went big and didn't work. The Chiefs? Same mistake over and over. They never learn.

How do they figure they can win in a way that's nearly impossible. This franchise has never and will never be great. Just average to suck.

Uhhh...yes it is...

A swap of 2nd round picks and a conditional next year is way different than 2 2nds...

Some of you have just gone off the deep end.

They are paying at least 9 million a year for Smith, and gave up the 34th pick. I just don't see that happening.

I'm stuck at work, did Clayton say it on TV, tweet it or other?

STUPID trade, but if its only a swap of 2nds this year plus a pick next year, that changes my opinion almost entirely.

The saddest part is that the Raiders will ruin Geno's career if they get him. What a waste.

Funny thing is Steadman drafted two quarterbacks in the first round.

A swap and a conditional would make this hurt much less.

think about the 6 good players that the primes of their careers are ruined because of this

so the next 4 years and after that DJ, Hali, Flowers, Charles, etc will all be way over the hill
