I'd rather have a naked Justyn Ross line up than Skyy Moore.

Don't misunderstand- if it were up to me, Skyy would be the first WR cut. He's not big, he's not fast, he has shit for brains and stones for hands. *I* would cut him.

I'm just saying the Chiefs may not cut him and the reason may be "experience."

Won't help him a bit.

The only way he makes the team is if it was just a fait accompli.

Because Remigio, Ross and Washington all bring more to this football team than Moore. Or Irv Smith. To say nothing of Hardman, Watson and Toney.

There is no 'there' there. At all.

I'd carry 5 WRs and an extra LB or Safety for special teams purposes before I carried Moore.

So who's being cut for him because that's where it gets kinda sketchy?

Is it only 3 TE's so Irv Smith is out?

Is Remigio out?

Keeping Toney makes more sense, I can at least see the rationale there.

If they carry 7 Wrs and 3 TEs, I think Ross makes it because Ross is at least a bigger body for the red zone - a body you've lost by cutting (presumably) Irv Smith. If you have Irv Smith you really don't need Ross.

If you don't have Smith, you kinda want Ross around, though.

So even without Smith you can go 7 deep (Brown, Rice, Worthy, Watson, Toney, Hardman, Ross) and still not get to Moore. And then if Rice gets suspended AND you drop Smith, you STILL go 7 deep (Brown, Worthy, Watson, Toney, Hardman, Ross, Remigio) before you get to Moore.

In any remotely sane world, the guy is ****ing done.

Then will they IR him to be nice?

I still say he gets dealt to some team with crappy WR's for a late pick...like Buffalo.

Right?!?

I mean when you start to look at it, there's just no way to get the guy on this team unless you're getting rid of dudes that have an actual role here or have actually shown something in practice.

You have to just say "**** it, I'm not cutting a 2nd round pick" if you keep him.

And we've CUT a 2nd round pick with no viable role coming into his 3rd season in the Veach era.

If you IR him before cuts, you can't bring him back. In which case, why bother? So you can pay him an NFL salary (and carry the cap charge) to no purpose?

And if you carry him through cuts then IR him, you have to risk losing someone better than him.

No, that idea is also pretty terrible.
