Exactly. Hell, I'd try to make Montrell Washington stick before Skyy; at least we know he's not going to fumble 1 out of every 3 punt return attempts.

- Hollywood
- Rice
- Worthy
- Watson
- Hardman
- Toney
- Remigio
- Ross
- Washington
- Skyy

That's a big hill to climb for Skyy.

Between WR and TE they're probably keeping 10...and he's what 13th?

Worse still, every person above Skyy has a defined skill set and niche role. We'll ignore the 'big 3' for the moment:

Watson -- STs standout; 3 core guy.
Hardman -- STs and deep speed; elite gadget weapon
Toney -- Gadget player and premier athleticism
Remigio -- very good route runner, plays STs
Ross -- Red Zone target
Washington -- field stretcher; tracks passes well

Moore doesn't have a party trick. Not one single thing the coaches can point to and say "hey - we can use him here..."

He needs to be gone. This is a sunk cost. Move along.

Hardman also is an elite horizontal stretch guy, which has value.

I don't think we'll use him like that anymore. Ball-tracking just hasn't come along.

But as a drag guy, you can put that speed to use. Those intermediate and deep crossers are awfully dangerous with a guy like him.

EDIT: That's exactly what you said. 'horizontal' stretch guy rather than vertical. Yeah - agree 100%.

I'm not sure how much it helps him but Skyy has more experience in the Chiefs system than everyone except Hardman and Watson. Of course, it's not a big advantage if Skyy still runs the wrong routes, can't beat coverage and/ or drops the ball. But I could understand the Chiefs wanting guys who (theoretically) know the system.

Skyy doesn't even theoretically know the system.

Watching Mahomes take a grounding penalty on a middle screen because he Skyy was literally just kinda standing there lost was absolutely the end for me. He was the read. He was the play. It was clearly set up as a middle screen to the flanker and he just got lost on the field. I think he ran into Watson and then just kinda meandered for a spell.

Guy just doesn't have a ****ing clue what he's doing out there.

That experience meant so much last year that he suited up at rode the pine in the SB last year.

They gave up on him.

I heard the Broncos are in need of a star WR. Could send them Skyy for a 3rd round pick. Or would that be helping a division rival too much?

Moore is so far down the list he probably doesn't make the team even if Rice is suspended.
