Sweden is also a smart country that believes in science and mostly follows general guidelines They're not analogous to us in a lot of ways. |

Wow. HI means herd immunity. I was wondering why everyone kept talking about Hawaii.

2 nursing homes in close proximity to us are reporting outbreaks. We're seeing hospitalizations rise (I assume due to this reason)

CDC confirms what Dr. Haseltine and others have been saying with their update yesterday. Kids have the same or higher viral loads and they were sequestered with their WFH parents. Also state they can spread the virus in households and such which makes school just as bad or worse. As Suzzer pointed out alot of people are still working from home, including probably most of the big corporations so when kids go back to school there is going to be a new huge pool of potential victims.

Doesn’t necessarily say that. Basically says “we aren’t really sure”. Which makes sense because we aren’t really sure.
There was the one Georgia summer camp outbreak but after that was broken down I don’t really know that it necessarily came from pediatric spread. |

I read a few of the T cell papers this morning again. They’re pretty technical so they’re not the easiest to get thru but if I’m understanding it, they found essentially 2 sero negative but T cell specific for every sero positive pt.
So that would basically mean nyc for example with it’s 24% positive serology studies would equal out to be in the 60s of overall immunity or past infections cleared. I’m a little skeptical on that but with the way they’ve kept things low there it would make sense |
