So can quarterbacks. It just seems Denver is poor at doing so without giving away the farm. I thought Knowmo said The General was going to get his man for just a late round pick, a scrub player, and low cost car insurance for two years? I guess the actual price tag was a tad bit higher. This has the feel of trading for a Kentucky Derby winner 7 years later and hoping it can still run fast.

BTW - All the news out of Green Bay today is just hype to drive and drive up the price for AR. The General will see this desperation and only offer a 5th rounder now (mostly because it’s all he has left).

He's still only 33. Guys like Elway and Steve Young both set their career high for passing TD's when they were 37. Elway's best stretch of his career came when he was between 33-38 years old.

Russ will adapt. What he loses physically he'll make up for mentally.
Russ is it now? I can only imagine the pillow talk you are already having with Russ in your mind today alone.

He may be in the down side of his career. Maybe not throw it as far as could in the past but he can still throw a fantastic deep ball. They are definitely a better team with him on the team.

I'd much rather them get Wilson than Rodgers or Watson. I think Watson would have been worst case scenario for the Chiefs with his age and upside. I think they are a bit better but probably finishing 3rd or 4th in the division still.

Looks like Denver will be spending big on a pass rusher next week.

Good for him! All this means is that you bail in November instead of October.

The allegedly "loaded" Denver offense had exactly ZERO Pro Bowl or All Pro players this past year.

Maybe. Not sure a thumb injury contributes to your legs. Wilson's height might make things a bit different too. I would be slightly concerned that he's lost some of what made him so great at avoiding pressure and keeping plays alive. Can Russ evolve as more of a pocket passer in the twilight of his career?

None of the wins during the last few years mattered. Nothing was ever on the line. I didn't care when Denver was pummeling Alex Smith into the dirt and you shouldn't have cared about beating Drew Lock.

Now that Big Russ is here the counting can begin..

Is that why you bailed, because none of it mattered??? Denver never pummeled anything for as long as KC has pummeled Denver.
That is 13 AND COUNTING...
