Ben Rapestburger has been contemplating retirement for years now it seems. I know he has taken some big hits and we've knocked him out of a game. I can actually see him retire in mid~air. |

**** the Colts. They deserve it.
They intentional lost games and "sucked for Luck" to get him. Karma can be a bitch. Don't have anything against Luck, but no tears shed. He is plenty rich and rides off into the sunset with a pretty wife and a baby on the way. He ain't suffering by any stretch. The Colts, on the hand, will hopefully be suffering for a generation. Hopefully the NFL makes it clear to them that they need to put forth maximum effort...intentionally losing games should not be tolerated. They have the talent to be 6-10/7-9. If they go 2-14 everyone will know they are cheaters, just like the Donkeys. |

They didn’t intentionally lose games. They were legitimately bad and everyone involved with that team got fired after the season. That is one lie that just won’t die. |

They were a playoff team the year before (10-6), and a playoff team the year after (11-5). They were not that bad. They had had nine consecutive years of winning 10 games or more before the suck for Luck year, and had 3 consecutive 11 win seasons after....so 12 out of 13 years they were pretty damn good...but that one year they could barely scrap out 2 wins..... Maybe they didn't throw the games, but they made no effort to win. They treated the whole season like a bunch of preseason games. |

The only people who were talking about tanking that year were ill informed fans like you. Yeah, they made the playoffs for like 7 straight years before that year. When they had PEYTON FREAKIN MANNING. The main reason they were so bad that year was because Bill Polian had drafted Curtis Painter in the 6th round of the draft a few years before that and his pompous ass was determined that the dude was a legitimate backup. He wasn’t he was gawd awful. After a few games, when it was plain as day that Painter wasn’t cutting it, they went out and signed the best available option at that point, Kerry Collins. He was marginally better until he got hurt, then they were stuck. So they tried to win. It was Polians arrogance and Caldwell’s mediocre “mannings not around to carry my ass” coaching that sunk them. And they all paid with their jobs. That sure looks like a concerted, team wide tanking effort to me. |
