I hope you do it. You’re not keeping up with the Chiefs with only Aaron Rodgers.

Did I mention the Chiefs are an excellent drafting team and got an extra 3rd the next 2 years?

Nah brah Jerry Jeudy is worth like 3 1sts on his own. Just send him over /knowmo

FWIW, ESPN rated KCs draft class #3 overall. Not bad for a team that drafted where they drafted. Much better than Denver who drafted #9 in each round.

The Rams were competing with the 49ers and Broncos for Stafford last year and only gave up two late 1's and a 3.

Stafford didn't have the ability to dictate his destination the way Rodgers does this year. The Packers will get a nice package but I don't think it's going to be a massive haul. Rodgers holds the cards, not GB, not Denver, not any other team.

Is Rodgers a FA? If not he holds no cards unless he has a clause in his contract stating he can't be traded to certain teams.

The only reason Rodgers came back last year is because the Packers promised him control over his future in 2022. They adjusted his contract so it would be impossible for them to keep him without him restructuring it, and he won't restructure it unless he's getting what he wants. Rodgers can choose to come back still, but if he wants to be traded somewhere it's to a place of his choosing.

Teams break promises all the time. They could keep him and gut the team to pay his salary or watch him retire. He still holds no cards.

All I need to know is that this Hackett kid is Paul Hackett's son. If he has any training from his father at all, the broncos will remain irrelevant.

My most memorable Paul Hackett story is when he was up in the booth calling plays as (ostensibly) our offensive coordinator. It was third down and he dialed up some play that was completely useless, a fullback screen or something that had no chance of making the first down.

Gunther was our defensive coordinator, and Gunther said, "Why did you call that play?"

Hackett said, "We'll gain a few yards before we punt."

Gunther replied, "Or maybe you could try to get the first down."

It's run it's course. They were making plans to move on from Rodgers back in 2020. 2021 was the the last dance. All the cap space and the talent was setup for one more run. It's smart for Green Bay to move on.

The Patriots and the Colts got NOTHING for Brady and Manning. The Packers aren't going to walk away from a top 10 pick.

Stafford for sure had the ability to choose where he would go. Don’t be stupid.
