Off Season Lets Talk Guns, Part 2

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

That's pretty eerie, because that is exactly the path I'm headed down myself.

Speaking of.........I'm hoping like hell that the Wife and I can finally get back to Edinburgh in 2021. I am hoping like hell that I can witness a Tattoo at the castle....damn that is a thing of beauty!

Then up to Culloden to say hello to the ancestors....then over to Stirling. Hell, all of it..

Damn, I hope that we are done by August of 2021....

Building a .223 Wylde and a Wilson Combat has a 18" inch barrel on sale for a great price while actually having it in stock. Downfall is it isn't threaded for a muzzle break but they don't kick enough for that to be issue. Good deal or get a different one?

Doesn’t get too much better than Wilson Combat. Also, any gunsmith worth a shit can thread the end of that barrel fairly quickly. Then you can add any type of break or flash hider

I dunno, I guess I "could". Heading back to Wyoming after Thanksgiving and will be there until the New Year. I could zero his AR at 100, 75, 50 and use up a box of ammo from say, 100, 200, 300 yards to illustrate the effectiveness of the 5.56...

Just Kidding!! Have a wonderful Holiday everyone!! Blessings to you all!!
