IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

they'd probably mis-calculate and end up slapping each other on the back of the knees.

We won those games because of defense and special teams, not anything Alex did, but way to cherry pick a few games to prop up your game manager. What did Alex do against the Pats and Steelers in the playoffs - he shit the bed. You want to give him credit for wins, when he was not the deciding factor but ignore all the losses that were squarely on his shoulders.

Nearly every week the opposite team has a better QB than our horizontal throwing star, that is a huge advantage. Alex is nothing but a giant black hole, sucking the joy out of KC football fans.

You must have some kind of mental defect to come on here every day and pretend a boring QB with 15 TD's and 10 turnovers is the greatest player of all time. You probably have a Steve Bono jersey tucked away in your closet too.

Not worth talking to that moron. He won't change his view on Alex.

Always somebody elses fault but Alex.

Genius assessment there, cupcake.
alex smith threw for 108 yards against the seahawks. and our defense and charles bailed us out IIRC

jamaal charles dominated the broncos the years they won it IIRC and in the game we lost to them that year smith threw 2 ints

he didnt throw for 250 yards against the pats. the defense got multiple turnovers and gave smith short fields.

he played well against atlanta.

he's responsible for 1 of the 4 wins you brought up...GOOD JOB!

You watch the playoff game where Smith carried the team and made Avant look spectacular out there against the Pats? 290 total yards to Brady's 306. No houston, charles, ware, or Maclin to help contribute anything significant to that game, mind you. Pats bracketed Kelce.

You're ignorant, face it.

Because Dilfer held a starting QB position as long as Smith and had 5 straight winning seasons to go with it.

and what are you calling a starting Qb position? how many games a year?

because they both got replaced while not being injured quite a few times...

Agreed on the first point.

As to the second one, I'll be excited just to have Chiefs football back. As long as they have a reasonable chance to win double digit games, and have a shot in the playoffs (which they most certainly do).. there is enough to be excited about.

Is it September yet?

Sounds to me like the OC's were in shit situations. Probably a terrible feeling accepting a nice OC job just to find out that you can't execute your game plan due to a guy's limitations.

If that was the case Reid would have never traded for him.
