Chris Ballard is incredibly overrated. Super nice guy but overrated.

His 2017 draft is shit. His 2019 draft is shit.

His 2018 draft was good but part of that is getting a known HOF caliber prospect at G picking 6. That’s fine and dandy until you realize he passed on Josh Allen who is now the 2nd best QB in the conference and a legit top 10, pushing top 5 QB today.

His one big score was Darius Leonard.

Brett Veach cut 3 of our 4 best pass rushers-Houston, Ford, Bailey- and took a blow torch to our defense installing 9 new starters.

We won the super bowl that next season in large part of that defense.

Now he took a blow torch to the OL and completely remade it and it will likely be a top 10 unit.

Better than Ballard

It’s not even close. Veach is the best in the business. KnowMo is delusional.

You trust the article you posted when it comes to talking about Paton, but you disregard the same article when it talks about Veach

Makes sense!

Andrew Luck was still on the team the year he took Nelson. Poor Ballard had no idea what was coming in 2019.

Colts are 32-32 since Ballard took over, and that was with an 11-5 season last year with Rivers. Seems to me that he is using the 90s Chiefs formula.....play defense and hope the offense can score enough.....I'm sure that will work

Veach is just a name you say because of how successful KC has been over the last two years. A few of those agents are probably unaware that Dorsey and Ballard built that team.

So this list was built off the opinion of agents...not actual football people.

No wonder they like Paton...they saw the money he threw at Cousins.

Someone said that Will Parks was an "upgrade" for the Chiefs.

That’s why this is laughable. Who the **** cares what any agent thinks? They aren’t football experts.

The Chiefs currently have 5 starters that were drafted/signed when Dorsey and Ballard were here.

Dorsey and Ballard had absolutely nothing to do with the Chiefs rebuilding their entire defense in one offseason and getting over the hump to win the SB.

They also had absolutely nothing to do with the current youth infusion on the Chiefs and their completely rebuilt OL.

Veach found Mahomes who changed everything. Elway, Ballard and Dorsey couldn’t find QB’s as GM’s

oh really....so if we say Veach is just a name because of success, then what is 32-32 Chris Ballard?
