Take away the QB and KC has a better roster. Denver doesn't have a Hill or Kelce or that o line or that defensive talent KC has

Their CBs are nice, but they're also overpaying for some of those vets. From a roster building standpoint, I'll take ours even though theirs might be better.

That's about it. And you can't win with CBs. Teams think they can, but you're in bad shape if that's your best position group on the team. Your shutdown CB shuts down a receiver. Cool story, bro. Now what about the rest of the defense?

Remember when Mahomes clowned Talib, Harris and Von with a bunch of backup scrubs in his first start ever?

They might have a really solid defense, but even that isn't proven. For one thing, Von Miller isn't guaranteed to be anywhere close to what he used to be. He was already falling off before the injury. Plus, I don't think that stockpiling CBs is the most effective way to beat Mahomes/Reid. Hill will still burn any of them and Kelce will still abuse the middle of their D as always. They need their D-line to consistently abuse our O-line and that's probably not happening.

When you have a huge deficiency at QB and head coach, everything else needs to be better to expect to compete. Yet they're still behind at practically every offensive position except maybe WR2 and WR3. And several defensive positions are a lot closer than they think.

I'd say by week 7 this year b/c it's a longer season. Usually he's done, like his team, before Halloween.

Not a single **** was given.

No. But Fant and Albert O could be the closest thing to Gronk and Hernandez the NFL has seen.

In fairness, that preseason week 1 performance vs Minnesota's backups is probably the high point of the last six years for the franchise.
