*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

9-7 is worst case scenario IMO.

The Chiefs have by far the best coaching staff in the division and a top 5 talented roster overall.
The Broncos and Chargers have brand new coaching staffs and the Andy Reid is JDR's father.

We have an enormous advantage before the first snap is even played.

Those are the teams off the top of my head with worse offensive talent.

Losing Jamaal and Maclin looks bad on paper, but not as bad as some of these dumpster fires.

There is no mop up time when Alex is qb. The guy takes forever to score, and then usually plays for the fg. He keeps other teams in the game with his style of play. Especially last seasons Alex.

This is pretty much where I am at for this season. Those first 10 games, the schedule maker really didn't do us any favors IMO. We really need to be 3-1 going into that next 6 game stretch.

In the NFL. Give me 14 QBs that are better than Alex Smith in the past 3 years

Holy shit! This is the most favorable schedule I've ever seen for a good Chiefs team.

You guys are smokin' crack.

I don't care what he did 2 or 3 years ago. Look at last year and what he brings to the table this year.
Just think, if he did a 25% better job this year he'd still be under 20 TD's.

**** THAT.

Idk, man. The last 4-6 games or so look favorable, but the first 10 are pretty brutal. Very tough to come away better than 6-4.

He's 47-21. That's as good as your gonna get with a QB not named Brady, Rodgers, Wilson

Fine, get out your time machine and go back a couple years and enjoy the show. You can throw around all the meaningless stats you want, doesn't change the fact he isn't able to lead this team the the big game. Seriously.....25 other QB's threw more TD's. 21 threw for more yards. But you go on thinking he's a top 10 QB. Jeez.
