*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Maybe he didn't get enough sleep before the game...who knows. The offense has been off thus far and it has nothing to do with Mahomes or the WRs IMO. The issue is at LT and RT - Donovan Smith and Jawaan Taylor are going to be a problem. We really should have targeted a tackle in the first round.

El Travador was probably banging it out in the room next to his all night.

In all seriousness he looked off in the broadcast both on and off the field. Maybe he was just under the weather or stressed about something.

Seems OK in other photos. Think it's just the camera capturing one of those weird moments where your flesh is in motion.

He has a 2 year old and an almost 1 year old at home… that explains the bags under his eyes.

Donavon Smith hasn't been an issue, no idea where you came up with that.

So does the guy right above the bullseye on the marker he’s holding.

That slide, while the correct play, had to have ripped hearts out.

I have a hard time being too upset with the OL.

We’re averaging 4.7 yards per carry and we’ve only allowed 2 sacks.

Roll the win rate blocking stats into a tight circle and **** them until you fall asleep.

Results matter more than grades. Chiefs have ran the ball efficiently and Mahomes is staying upright.

A better example of a left tackle being a liability is watching OBJ vs Tennessee this past week.

Dudes got a ton of pressure on him. Trying to repeat with a team that's had a bunch of moving parts the last couple of years. Changing OTs every other year, changing WRs and having inexperienced WRs that are not yet developed. The burden to get it done lies directly on his shoulders. He's got the big contract, he's done a ton of commercials and he has two young children. That's a lot on his plate and he's not the guy to be happy with just cashing in he wants to prove he's worth every penny. He wants to go back to back as much as Chiefs fans and probably more.

For whatever reason we couldn’t pick up a stunt to save our lives on Sunday and against Saleh’s defense that’s a recipe for a bad time.

What’s the YPC figure when you take out Mahomes’ runs?
