Qdoba has converted me to the deliciousness of cilantro lime rice and queso fresco. Their fajita burrito is to die, with peppers and onions, flank steak and two scoops of extra hot salsa.

Wish we had one of those places in this little shitburg I'm currently in, sounds great... the good news is that they have one 30 miles away and I'm moving back there in a little over a month.

The price makes it very tempting to save money. But I'd not replace the ribeye with flank/flat iron steaks, I'd take the chuckeye in place of the ribeye if price is any worry at all. And I will stand firm on a chuckeye being every bit as good as a ribeye, it's the next two inches off the Delmonico side of the rib section.

If you're going to the image, that's for 6 bottles.
It's fairly cheap and available at WalMart, like $3 and change or so. I get mine at an unclaimed freight place like Cargo Largo in Grandview called Bargain Factory for like $1 a bottle. |

I have mixed success with flat iron steaks. I used to buy them years ago and they were good. Then I got some really tough cuts. It's not always super cheap to find either and I'd spend the extra $1-2 /lb for ribeye when it's on sale.

Was it one in the box or the shrink-wrapped ones out of the freezer section? The shrink-wrapped ones are crap but I see a lot of people buy the ones in the box. I saw a lady stop in the middle of 7 hwy to save one off the road that some other sap had apparently lost out of there vehicle.
and yes, I said box... just asking if the box is better? For the price I could get a "Hot-and-Ready". |
