I'm guessing that's a reference towards Hyde's age, which is 28. Sherman is 30...

Do you think Hyde wants to be a #3 back? Cause that's what he'd be here if Darwin even remotely pans out.

It doesn't matter what he wants to be, it only matters what he's paid to be... A little veteran leadership will be good for this team, even as a 3rd HB. Darwin hasn't earned that # 2 position yet, even as good as Darwin looks thus far, he could learn a lot from Hyde.

I think if Denver cuts Booker(very possible) I'd prefer him as our 3rd back to Williams and Hyde.

I don't think they gave the guy $1.5MM guaranteed to cut him for a gadget player (Smith) who is a one trick pony. Hyde will have to get himself cut for that to happen.
They gave Hyde 1.5MM because they were trying to bring back Kareem Hunt. It wasn't a savvy move.

Let’s just enjoy the fact that everyone is arguing about the potential third running back on the offense and not quarterback. This team is much easier to love.

Wut? You seem to lose all your critical thinking when it comes to Kareem Hunt.

Kinda fun to think about, but can Darwin Thompson basically be a mixture of Jamaal Charles and Kareem Hunt?

I didnt really pay much attention to the line but I'll say this with the new CBA and no development league the NFL really ****s itself. You would think they could so something like the AAF and not only make money but develope offensive linemen. Youd think better o-line play would decrease the number of injuries and protect the cash cow which is the QB.

Per usual the league is behind the curve.
