Minnesota signed Correa to a 3-year, $105 million contract. I know they’re in a bigger
market than KC, but are they THAT much bigger that they can manage contracts of that size when KC can’t? Now isn’t the time to be giving out big money in FA, but in a year or two it would really accelerate the return to contention if Sherman is willing/able to authorize some bigger contracts than we’ve traditionally seen in KC.

I don’t have the link, but did you see he has opt outs after year 1 AND year 2 of the 3 year deal.
That’s interesting (to me, anyway).

It's essentially a one year 30 million dollar contract... and despite Minn being as small a market at KC, the Pohlad family is worth much more than the Sherman group.

The contract was done this way because Boras doesn't get the full amount this year. He opts out and gets a new contract next year - Boras gets his full cut.
