That was probably the ugliest game I've ever seen, on both sides of the ball.

That was abysmal, both Nebraska and Iowa suck balls.....

I've never seen a kicker miss one 25 yards to the left while the other team has two blocked.

Glad I drove home from Omaha and did not pay to go to that game.

Nebraska fired Frank Solich because, after a 9-3 season, their AD, Steve Pederson, wanted to “stop the slide into mediocrity”.

Solich career record? 59-19.

This is the part that entertains me the most. "We can do better, remember the 80s and 90s?" What a bunch of damn dummies.

Nebraska would still be running the option if he was here. The dumb firing was Callahan, he was bringing in top 5 classes like Suh and Amukamara.

Callahan ruined Husker football and it may never recover. Nebraska can't even recruit based on tradition/legacy anymore.

Total failure.

Callahan had to convert an option offense to a WCO offense, using option QB'sand white farm bred players who ran the option in HS. It was said once Callahan got to Nebraska all NE HS switched to the WCO.

The dude then proceeds to bring in recruiting classes

5, 20, 13

Including the coveted Suh class with two 5 stars to go with him.
https://nebraska.rivals.com/commitments/football/2005

His problem was he stuck with his DC for too long.

Shit he even produced an NFL Coach in Zac Taylor. Make no mistake that 2009 defense that Bo Pelini hung his hat one were all Callahan and John Blake guys.

Congrats to Iowa for winning the worst division in football. Seriously, I knew their offense was bad, but damn, that game was like a clinic in how not to play offensive football. Both teams were abysmal. The Huskers drop 4 in a row, games they easily could have won, because they are just as bad as every team in the division. The Hawkeye's get 10 wins this season, because they are marginally the best of the absolute worst.

Winning is better than losing, in spite of the warts. Husker nation would kill for a season like the one Iowa just had. Iowa's gonna get ****ing creamed by Michigan. But, congrats on winning the shitty division.

Let the hate flow. Nebraska hasn't beat Iowa in Lincoln since 2011. Time to fire Rhule yet?

I actually think the Huskers are on the right path. This wasn't a quick fix situation. Rhule set a solid foundation this season. Now he has to build on it.
