LOL, did Rocco just say that he wasn't rooting for Tiger to miss that putt? Come on, don't insult our intelligence.
I get the whole "golfer's etiquette" jive, but anyone in their right mind would want to win their first major and the cash that comes with it by any means necessary. |

So why are they having an 18 hole playoff? Don't most tournaments go to a sudden death, hole-by-hole mode? Or am I completely making this up (I don't watch much golf).

I can't tell if it's your usual sarcasm or not, seems to be a lot more hostility than sarcasm. Oh well. I enjoy watching golf whether or not Tiger's in the hunt or not, but when he's out there pulling stuff out of his behind like the last 2 days, you just tip your cap to the man and be glad you had the chance to see something special. |

worked up? hype? you've missed the point. There is nothing that Tiger can do wrong. First, we had the knee surgery, then we had the limping, pouting ( almost HCwDB pouting) while shooting a 30 and now with the 54 hole lead, he's managed to TIE the leader going into 18 on Sunday. It was clearly the greatest 18 holes in the history of golf...not just pro golf, but USGA golf. In case you didnt read the entire thread, you know that Tiger has never lost after leading 54 holes. So, the fact that he tied it is a HUGE suprise. I tipped my cap when Tiger won by 17 in 1997 at the masters, the again in 2000 when he won by double digits. Yeah, lets see him win another tournament...all we need is some WWE drama to make it perfect. btw, did you know that home interest rates are at the lowest they've been in a century and that you can get hair replacement surgery for less than 1 dollar a day? |

I had to step away for a bit. My heart stopped when Tiger's putt hit the edge. And Titus said there would not be drama.

I'm a big Tiger fan. My son loves watching him play. Just for myself and my kids to see the "Palmer" of this generation is great.
