As unpopular as this will be for some, it's time to Nationalize it. We have to do something. The economy is at stake IMHO. I know my local economy is. Gas gets too high this summer, and this town will starve.

Welp... When money is being printed with no way to back it up the dollar continues to slide, when you buy something with a weak dollar you either get less of it for a dollar or pay more for it...

Nationalizing won't do anything, somebody is gonna pay. this country needs to drill and build more refineries.

We have a caravan of family heading to Colorado this summer. Instead of 11 people in three vehicles it may turn into two vehicles. Cozy, Cozy!

Gasoline is now $3.90. I'd imagine that, barring any unpleasantries, we'll see $4.00 pretty easily but probably no higher than $4.10 or so.

This. Just the fact that we would be setting the course to take action would cause the speculators to lower the price and yield "some" short-term relief.

$3.79 here in Houston - Compared to the rest of the nation, that's pretty good...

Apparently Chicago has the highest prices in the country right now. When I filled up last week in Naperville it was around $4.35, and depending on location is generally 30 to 50 cents higher in the city.

Can't wait for summer.

Cuz they already own the vehicle so their stuck. We have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee that's almost paid off, but my wife loves it and feels safer in it, so we will continue to take it in the ass on gas.

We drive my car most of the time instead.

Yeah my peeps up in the windy city tell me how much it is up there and they
hate it but what can you do.

For me the silver lining in the clouds is that it will help get a new president in office instead of the under qualified bum thats in there now.
