2019 Free agency Thread
We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research. https://overthecap.com/ |

Cut Berry, sign Collins and give Watts a chance at the starting FS job next year. I’m fine with that as long they bring in competition for Watts through the draft.

Yeah given Watts issues with durability I’m not sure you can pencil him in as a starter. Give him a chance to compete for the job, sure maybe but don’t count on it for a full season.

Exactly. But they could also plan on holding onto Sorensom for that very purpose.

Some of y’all will probably think I’m crazy, but I’m not sure that there’s any way that I’d ever be forking over $25M+ per year for mediocre QBs. Guys like Dak, Foles, Cousins, Mariota, etc....
I think I’d just keep swinging for bigger and better options that will at least be cheap before I tied up a bunch of cap room into players who aren’t that special. Eventually you’re bound to hit a home run and get a legit top 10 QB. |

Gruden is either a mad ****ing genius or a mouth breathing moron. I’m leaning toward the latter.

Why would you not trade him though? He cost a lot and is getting older
