Not even. All they Raiders had to do was complete passes and not run into each other and the Refs had it tagged and bagged for the Faid. They just somehow forgot that Radiers always gonna Raider.

I've been watching it since the late 80s/early 90s, and it's always been that way :

Hasty's interception return
Elvis's last second pass to Rison
Around Thanksgiving weekend 2020 with the last second TD to Kelce

The only exceptions in my memory :

Barefoot kicker

The JaMarcus Russell game

The time during the Pioli-era where we actually lost to them in OT

The Thursday Night Game where the refs kept flagging Scandrick for phantom DPIs until Oakland finally ****ing scored.

The time we were undefeated but Mahomes threw an interception in Arrowhead and somehow the Raiders held on and didn't actually **** it up.

That's it.

We all criticize playcalling now and then, but it's clear that this is a very well-coached team. Over the last few years, how many times have the Chiefs started a game looking physically overmatched in the trenches, and like no one but Mahomes and a select few belonged on the field? Only to completely turn the tables. Obviously Mahomes deserves a lot of credit too.

At one point it was 17-0, near halftime, and Mahomes was sacked for a big loss. Did anyone think they'd end up scoring 30 at that point? It's amazing how they can adjust, but it's majorly disappointing to see Brown getting embarrassed by every decent edge rusher. They'd better not pay that guy. They can get his level of play for much less.

When we cut the lead in half before halftime, there was no doubt in my mind we'd storm back in the second half

Two things:

1) During his first training camp, it was obvious that OBJ struggles with speed rushers (you could see it in one-on-ones). That hasn't changed. Obvious things are obvious.

2) Two Faider receivers smashing into each other 30 yards downfield on the final play of the game has to be acknowledged as the most Faider thing ever. Speaking for myself, I shall never forget that moment.

Game might have been outright tied at halftime without the BS penalty on Carr's fumble. That was at least a 6 point swing, maybe a 10 point swing.

Adams and Renfrow running into each other was hialrious, but that pass wasn't getting completed either way. Carr threw up a prayer because Bolton was running towards him at full speed ready to kill.

Not sure why these QB's keep going for deep shots in critical short yardage. Mahomes & Carr both did this at the end of the game last night. Rodgers kept doing it on 3rd down against the Giants. It led to a punt every time for Aaron.

Yeah, it's stupid. Getting a first down there is just as good as a 30 yard play. In fact, if the Raiders score a TD there, KC gets the ball back with time on the clock and timeouts. The Raiders gameplan should have been to get into FG range and kick with no time remaining.

And the route timing had already been blown up at the LOS. That little delay that Williams created with the jam on Adams is why they ran into each other.

What is the defense expecting you to do? Throw for just enough to get a first.

The long plays are open. Just connect on them.

I was holding my breath they weren't gonna flag Bolton for RTP there. He gave him a shot.

it’s absolutely insane that we can go from getting physically dominated completely to outscoring the other team 30-12. i really thought it just wasn't our night but they literally flipped a switch, it was insane

I'm glad the Raiders were dumb enough to do it. I just wish Mahomes would have been smarter on the 3rd and 3. Chiefs didn't need anything other than a first down. Heck, he could have run it himself and probably at least setup 4th and 1 or something.

But then I see Aaron Rodgers at nearly 40 years old after 4 MVP's still trying to force deep shots on 3rd and short or 3rd and medium. If that guy is doing it after all his experience, I'm not sure Patrick will ever grow out of this tendency.
