Who’s more important is usually determined by market value. Elite interior D lineman are paid more than elite corners. Jones looks like he will be productive and more disciplined to his assignments this year based on the first two games.
If we can get Ramsey for a first and another later round pick and marginal player, and structure the deal to allow Jones to be signed. I’m all good, but two first and a Brinks truck deal is not worth it.

Clay, if the deal doesn't get done, what happens to that jersey? Will it become a rare collectors item? Will it be incinerated? Will Brett Veach sleep in it at night, crying?

You’re telling me Ramsey wouldn’t make a difference essentially? That’d we’ll need 40 no matter what?

Nonsense. He’s an elite corner that can allow us to double other players. He could take Edelman or Gordon out of the game.
Is it?

Did we not just put 40 on the Jags with Ramsey taking away Tyreek, then Sammy?

We have the most offensive weapons in the league, but unfortunately NE is probably 2nd in that regard. They have weapons everywhere. It sucks.

Again not saying it won’t help, but I don’t think that will be the deciding factor. I think Pat and this offense will determine how we do against NE.

To me that would be a combination of both.
There have been many dynasties (i.e. 70s Steelers, 70/80s Raiders, 80s 49ers, 90s Cowboys). Not any as long as the Patriots but it is certainly possible to have a good 5 year dynasty.

Yeah, I'll go ahead and give him a call and explain.

All this texting back and forth is getting us all nowhere, fast.
