Armani Watts is making a nice push for a spot, I never thought he was in real danger of being cut but at least he's showing something.

C. Thompson made a good special teams play on the second muffed punt vs the Bengals. He went into the pile hard and kept 2 Bengal players from getting the recovery that Keizer made.

If he can give you what Kemp does on STs, I'm inclined to agree - he should get that last WR slot over Kemp. And Kemp will still land on his feet - somebody will sign him. Let's find a way to get us a Kemp/Smith package for another Ward. |

Who doesn't give Hill credit for tracking balls in the air? Virtually anyone that has an opinion on Hill (apart from Brooke Pryor) will acknowledge that he's arguably the best in the league at finding and flagging down the football. The dude's ability to do 'WR Stuff' is just incredible. He was made for this team and this role. |

If having 40 tds instead of 50 is regression then I'll take it. I bet he gets over 40 still.

You let Lucas go in that case. I like Lucas a lot but if a safety gets lost in the numbers crunch, Lucas isn't exactly free and carries no cap penalty. Sorenson will contribute a LOT more this season than Watts will - likely wouldn't be close. Sorenson isn't anywhere near the 53rd guy on this roster. He's probably nearer the top 40 than the bottom. He's a solid, if overpaid, player. |
