Hell there are 5-6 guys that should be promoted on that AA club alone, Witt, Pratto, Melendez, Dungan, Martin.
They have typically promoted guys at the All-Star break unless they are just going insane for all of the start of the minor league season.

For guys like Pratto and Melendez, who have struggled, or a guy like Witt, who is getting a taste of full season ball for the first time, moving them at the minor league break is still aggressive.

I'd like to see all of them challenged with that hurdle. McBroom can play OF if they want to keep his bat in the lineup.

Good lord at the Bauer stuff. Holy shit.

It’s a damn shame. He’s a nut job but I think he’s good for baseball. As a player/ambassador for fun.

I think the prosecution will have a tough time getting a conviction because of the record of consensual relations and the requests from her end for rough sex.

But still. Baseball can’t afford that type of black eye.

So the Royals today are on their way to their 9th straight loss.

So far they've had losing streaks of:

11 games
9 (and counting)
6
5

and those 6- and 5-game streaks were separated by a win, so it really was part of a 1-11 stretch. To go along with 0-11 and 0-9 (and counting) stretches.

AND IT'S ONLY THE FIRST HALF OF THE SEASON

Heads must roll

Bring in HOF QB Terry Bradshaw,i'm pretty sure he could be just as good of a hitting coach.

There's literally nothing redeeming about this right now. Nobody's playing well and Boston is out here hitting half swing homers and getting every little break on top of it to rub it in. Just a disaster of a road trip.

These losing streaks are pretty unforgiveable. This team looks way too comfortable losing games. Not good.

I tried to point this out over the past month and got called a Negative Nancy, Debbie Downer Crabby old SOB who revels in the losing. I was just trying to knock the rose colored glasses off the fools re-arranging the furniture on the deck of the Titanic.

This team is on pace to lose between 95 and 100 games if things don't change. And things are not going to change this year.

I knew going in they were not going to be a winning team, but close to .500 was realistic. They're on track to be among the dregs of MLB again this year. I'll bet Baltimore is smacking their lips looking forward to beating us after the ASG. We're one of the few teams they have a chance against.

It's really sad, but it's just another lost season.I don't think its asking too much to expect your team not to be among the worst in baseball year after year after year after year. I just hope it doesn't take them 30 years to get back into contention. That's been their history. Suckage in 30 year segments.
