I love meatloaf with home made mac & cheese and some creamed peas. I would put that in one of my top 10 dishes. Cook up some bacon, bacon goes in the meatloaf, grease goes in the mac and cheese. Yum, I would go full on Buehler with a plate of that.

Never had creamed peas... Are they totally puréed or are they chunky?

I've never found a meatloaf I really like. The texture is just soo.....I don't know, blah. The taste isn't horrible, but it's also not great. And when paired with a straight blah texture, meatloaf is skip-able.

I call them creamed peas but I go with two cans of peas and a can of cream of mushroom soup. Kinda like the green bean casserole everyone hates on. That's okay, flame away.
