Saints Assistant GM Claims Chiefs were "probably " Taking Ruiz at 32

https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2020/...-no-32-overall

S Taylor and many on here breathe a sigh of cum.

I have no beef with CHE hes going to be good for 5-7 years which is all you can ask for a pick especially at 32. I think Ruiz is going to be good for over a decade.

This is a reeruned article though because you can say that about any player who drafted higher than CEH...

The Chiefs were planning to take Lamb if he fell to 32, but wait... he was taken at 17.

If Veach is getting giddy because Mahomes wanted CEH BEFORE the draft began that day, that pretty much tells me they wanted CEH the whole time.

I'm sure there's a lot of players the Chiefs liked. And the Chiefs knew they wouldn't be there where they drafted. CEH was the target all along, considering their draft position.

This report even states that the Dolphins wanted him too, so even if he got by the Saints, he still wouldn’t have made it to 32.

I'm gonna guess they were "probably" taking Ruiz only because they didn't think Edwards-Helaire would possibly fall into their laps.

Lol Mahomes didn't give a **** about who they drafted. This whole "Mahomes wanted you" story is weird as hell.

I believe that. Eric Bienemy told Veach "go get him" when the pick got closer.

Side note, there is no way Ruiz would have made a bigger impact on this team than CEH. CEH is going to keep defense on their heels for the simple fact it's not only Mahomes back there now.

Damien Williams played really well late in the year. But he's doesn't strike fear into opposing defenses like CEH. This is a whole notha animal. This offense is ready to go to the next level. Whatever that is, it's theirs alone.

Yep, he can play center and guard. Strengthening the interior of our offensive line makes our offense balanced and practically unstoppable.

I'd love for you to define a quintessential "TruFan" using your vernacular.

Please enlighten us and show us the truth.

What position would make the most sense at pick #32, where you gain an additional year of contract length prior to having to make a decision on shelling out a ton of money to keep a guy?
