Is Kyle Shurmur gone with all the QB injuries around the league?
With teams like the Jets down to their practice squad QB starting, and the Steelers trading away their number 3 before Ben got hurt is our number three in danger of being poached?

I'm gonna go with "no" simply because he doesn't have any experience in any system but ours. So I'm not sure what value he'd bring to anyone other than, maybe, Philadelphia or Chicago as a backup. And they don't need help there.

Kyle Shanahan runs a similar system, as does Pat Shurmur, who comes from the Reid coaching tree back in the Philly days, Jon Gruden was on the Packers staff with Reid under Holmgren, John Harbaugh is a Reid disciple. Then you've got "by proxy" guys like Darrell Bevell in Detroit, who was Brad Childress's OC in Minnesota before going to Seattle; Childress, of course, was Reid's right hand man on offense in Philly, along with Pat Shurmer. John DeFillipo in Jacksonville was Pederson's OC in Philly for their SB run, and Brian Schottenheimer is from the same Walsh/Holmgren tree by way of Paul Hackett right here in KC, as was Mike McCarthy, which extends to guys like Joe Philben etc.

The Reid coaching tree is vast, and variants of that system are all over the league.
