LeSean McCoy released.

Better than Darrell?

This was Veach’s all-time draft crush outside of Pat, and one of Reid’s best players.

I haven't watched him much lately but 31 years old and avg 3.2 yards per carry last year. Does he have anything left?

Call me crazy, but I love the idea. LeSean is terrific in pass pro. He'd be an elite 3rd down option even at his age. Of course, assuming the price fits that role.

Problem is Darrell plays a lot of special teams and I doubt McCoy would be asked to

They could just go 4 RBs seeing as I think they were going to give Tremon a spot.

True

But then you’ve got Sherman too and 5 is a tough sell but could probably keep 2 tight ends?

Remember, he was in Buffalo, where no RB can succeed behind that line.

Kayvon Webster got cut from the Saints - maybe he's replacing Mark Fields?

Are we sold on Moore at backup QB? Patriots released House, Donks released Hogan. Hogan was drafted by Reid, so he would have familiarity with the playbook and he has starting experience. I don't know if either of them would win a game for us if Mahomes got hurt, but I have no faith in a guy who has been out of football for a season.
