It also helps that the league has legit sponsorship interest. Again, NIL goes a very long way with that. These players coming out of college are 100 times more media and marketing savvy than vets who’ve been in the league for a decade. |

It's actually the perfect time to get into the league. They have a new TV deal coming soon and will get $200 mil/yr for that instead of $60 mil/yr they get now. If they had that deal this year they would have been at $90 mil in profit this year.

Yes correct. It’s about future profits. They aren’t profitable right now and it’s further testament to telling the old guard to get the **** out of the way because they seem motivated to keep running it into the ground. But future potential is definitely intriguing

I'm no accountant but given rising TV ratings & attendance & franchise values plus the TV deal for $200M, I'd think the league is looking okay.

Whoa, holy shit, didn't realize that. Maybe they can make some money here. They just need to improve the product. I mean, I'm not a basketball guy, but the ads for the WNBA make it look a shit load more exciting than what it actually is, from what little of it I've watched.

Bet, he'd do the same in KC womens team. Anything he does turns into a winner. With Mahomes on board, I bet the WNBA would give him and KC a team. Get Clark to come here when shes a free agent. Shes a big Chiefs fan. Separate thought....... Mahomes is well on his way to being the first NFL player to be a billionaire. |

Kansas City doesn't really match up well with the demographics for the WNBA but hey worth a shot. Sports franchises are generally a safe type investment for what Mahomes would be putting in anyways.
