I’ll take Saban’s winning and championship record vs Jimbo. That’s all that really matters in this scenario.

First of all, **** Nick Saban! He sold his soul to the Devil and now he is here to collect. Fisher for the win! Saban is and has been spoiled rotten since he left Miami for Alabama. It is time to dethrone this worthless sack of shit and finally see the changing of the guard. Take your National Championship rings and shove them so far up your ass that you taste them in your throat. He is the biggest hypocrite and now it is biting into his "legacy" - piss off.

I don't get the whole God statement about deals.
Whatever. They are both scummy. Every coach at that level of football cuts corners. It has been that way since the 1880s. College football has never been pure. |

Who'da thunk? Eric Dickerson's high-paying days as a college athlete are now available to everyone.

It's funny because I think few people would disagree with the fact that 'big football programs' have been paying for players one way or another for a while.
NIL has taken things to a level that the SMU Booster Club of the 1980s could only imagine and it's going to become a huge part of what kills the love of the game. NIL and the transfer portal will crush the game. Yeah, teams like A&M are leveraging the NIL in ways to buy athletes - who didn't see this coming. It's more than just taking advantage of "NIL" rights, it's "Hey, here's a $100K car - come to our program". It's become a joke and will only continue to make NCAA football something that many will lose interest in... the diehards will stay, ratings will continue to be high, but overall the whole landscape is now different. Saban, Fisher ... it's a nice sideshow. |

This is like choosing a side in a war between drug cartels. I don’t care who wins. I just sit far away and hope they do maximum damage to their industry as a whole.
