15 posts in and it hasn’t come up yet? I’m ashamed of this place. |

Sorry....I have no compunction to have a cat in my house. When I started dating my wife all those years ago she had a very territorial cat. Before we married I went over to fix some things at her house that happened after a nasty storm came thru KC.
In a span of 3 hours that cat peed in my tennis shoes I had taken off at the door....jumped up on the table as we sat down to eat a sandwich for lunch put her butt toward me and ate my sandwich then proceeded to hiss at me every time we crossed paths that day. When my wife and I got married later on that year it became a tenuous truce with the cat only occasionally annoying me. But the final straw came a few years when the cat hissed at the crib and the baby. Now my wife loved that cat....but that cat went from a hero to a zero the minute my wife saw that cat hissing at the baby...within the hour my wife had packed everything that was the cats and hauled it off to her mom and dad's house. Never had another one in the house since. |

Lot of people in this thread too comfortable with killing household animals for my liking.

It's. A. ****ing. Cat.
One that is destroying your home as well. If the one who sucks the penis paid the mortgage, I'd understand. |

I kept reading and reading and reading wondering when it would be mentioned. I mean, it's a thread about a problematic cat. The type of thing that started the whole antifreeze thing in the first place.

Always surrender animals before putting them down. If it's too much of a burden to bare for you, then give the cat a chance at another home, or maybe a peaceful life in her own room at a shelter, or even with other cats in a cat room. There are alternatives to killing an animal at the end of their life, especially since the issue has gone on this long and she likely doesn't know any better. Animals are lifelong commitments, good with the bad, if you disagree with that, then surrender the animals to one of the many shelters in the area. I'd rather do that then just take her to a vet and say, "She's annoying me, end her life please."
