Chiefs making a run at Melvin Ingram

https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/2021...er-hesitation/

Should have just signed the guy when he was here. Likely have to overpay now as Pittsburgh doesn't want to trade within conference.

Given how desperate the chiefs are for ANY production up front, The Steelers might get away with extortion here.

Well, he is a HOFer and all. Who wouldn't jump at that. His autograph might be worth than a Honus Wagner baseball card one day.

Coming from the guy that says “should’ve just signed him while he was here”?

You can’t put a price on that. Pittsburgh would be stupid not to trade under those terms.

He probably thought all their talent and a top flight defensive minded coach would have him looking good, not riding pine.

So with Ingram and Schuster we are actually basically 7-0.

Veach has had a way of getting what he wanted. If he wanted Ingram, he would have signed Ingram. He's playing for peanuts in Pittsburgh. I can't imagine it would have been too terribly difficult to convince a 10th year pass rusher to join a team coming off b2b Superbowl appearances.

Perhaps he had faith that Jones wouldn't be a completely hilarious cluster**** playing at DE and thought that we didn't really need him.

Time will tell how badly he wants him now, should he convince the steelers to trade him in conference.

“Having a way of getting what he wanted” doesn’t mean he’s going to get what he wants all the time.

For example: Trent Williams

Would be a mistake IMO. We are more than Melvin Ingram away from being a legit SB contender. Unless you can swap a player like LDT for him, don't do it.

The sooner we embrace the rebuild the better, IMO.

Don't talk to KC fans about testicular anything! We waited 50 ****ing years for what we have received in the last few years.

There is nothing wrong with being a little realistic. It's a bad year but unlike other shit years this time we have the QB we need. Some of this teams issues can be fixed for 2022 and we will be back to being a force.

I have all the faith in the world in Mahomes.

I have little in the extremely high paid and yet extremely ineffective defense.
