Well I've thought that at times.
But if that is a serious plan, wouldn't you want to commit to it in the off season and let him practice it? If he is only spending limited time at LT, then that would really be a worst case scenario? Like the periodic talk [in the past] of moving Thuney to LT scenario, right? |

I noticed that you added some of our rookies in the top area, but others, such as Wiley, you put in the rostered/ competing area. I would think that Wiley would be assured a spot and should be in the top section. I guess that you were thinking that he would compete with Irv Smith for a spot?

Big improvement at QB potentially as Gabbert was completely trash.
DBs lack a bit of proven top end talent with Sneed gone but there is a lot of talent and versatility across the secondary that could be even better overall than last year if it clicks. The interior D line still looks very thin outside of Chris Jones and is arguably the biggest weakness. |

Let’s not act like Smith was Willie Roaf out there. If one of the youngsters can get to average we will be just as good if not better at LT.

I think you can pencil Wiley in as TE3 at least.

There's noise out there that DK Metcalf is on Veach's radar as a June 1 cut from Seattle

Supposedly Veach called during the draft. Would have made sense as a last year of his contract rental with Seattle eating some. If he gets to the open market we will be outbid.
