Man XR 400 prices are nuts right now. My best friend as a kids dad had one and i thought it was the coolest bike ever, so i check on them from time to time. Theres one listed in the tulsa area for 4k.

Took a trail ride so the kids could swim in the creek.

Now I travel the country riding/instructing/racing my MTBs... In keeping with this thread, I ride Windrock in Tennessee a lot, that is a 4Wheel heaven out there. Photo of me on the XR200R in 1984 at the Paola Harescramble: |

I'm fired up to get out for that first trail ride, but it's been a cold wet spring. It's been raining a lot here and snowing in the foothills and mountains. Bring on some heat!

I’ll trade you right now. 92 earlier and I’ve got a pretty good sunburn. I misjudged my cloud cover.

Well i sold my sons coolster 70 and this forced him to graduate to the klx 110 (143). We took advantage of the awesome weather yesterday and put some miles on it. There were some growing pains, we had to talk about carrying speed over rough terrain instead of slowing down and losing balance. By the end of the day he was pointing the front wheel and shooting.
(edit: he has gloves and wears them, they got wet playing on the boat ramp but he wanted a picture to show his friends before we loaded up.) |

My wife has lost her cool once on the trail in a creek crossing. We went through leaning to her side with my son in the middle of a polaris ranger. Then got a mile or two down the trail and it dead ended and we had to go back. She called me every name under the sun and she and my son walked across up stream. Then after watching me navigate it flawlessly as it leaned to my side she realized it wasnt as bad as it seemed and apologized.
