Nice cat. Go easy, Eddie.
It can be a real crap shoot seeing these people perform now that they're older. Sometimes they haven't lost a thing, like Pat Benetar. She sounds just as good now as she ever did. But even if the years have caught up to them, as long as they put forth a good effort I'm cool with it. Eddie busted his ass. On the other end of the spectrum is Don Dokken. That ****er was simply stealing from us. Can't sing AT ALL now, horrible stage presence, was actively being shitty to the guys in his band during the so-called performance. It was like watching an angry old man do shitty karaoke, except we'd paid to see it. After the set his bass player was outside having a smoke telling everybody what a dick he was.

Shakin' was probably my favorite song the he performed. Also love the Geico commercial that made fun of his "Two Tickets to Paradise" song. Classic

I really liked Eddie. He was a highly unlikely rock star. Looked like some Long Island dweeb, kind of a Poseur. But he was self-depricating, had a great sense of humor, and nobody ever said a bad word about him. His band was tight. He had a great life. And yeah, **** cancer. RIP Eddie.

He did two half time shows in a day. One up in Detroit I believe then the one at Arrowhead. I was at the game and when he left he walked right up the aisle we were sitting in. Seats were 50yd line right on the field he shook our hands as he walked by. It was a pretty cool Game Day.

RIP
